Privacy notice
This notice explains what information this website uses and why. We keep it to what we need to sell and ship the book.
When you browse
You don’t need an account to use this site. We don’t use advertising trackers.
We use Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider, to count visits and see which pages people view. It doesn’t use cookies, and it counts visits in aggregate without identifying you.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of requests to the site (such as the time, the page, and your IP address) to run and protect it. Our own server uses your IP address briefly to limit repeated checkout attempts, and doesn’t store it.
Cookies and storage on your device
This site doesn’t set its own cookies. Your browser remembers two settings on your device: whether you turned the book animation off, and whether your device can show it. They never leave your device.
OU Marketplace, where you pay, has its own privacy terms, shown on its pages.
When you order
Payment is handled by OU Marketplace, the University of Oklahoma’s secure checkout (run by TouchNet). We never see or store your card details.
To fill your order we receive your name, email address, shipping address and what you bought. We use them only to ship your order and contact you about it. We don’t sell or share them for marketing.
Children
The book is for children, but the store is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
